Lochside Bardowie Milngavie

Lochside Bardowie is a large refurbishment project just outside Milngavie, carried out after the property suffered extensive flooding throughout the house. The brief was to restore the home properly while also improving the layout, finish, and overall feel of the space.

Works included a new kitchen, four new bathrooms, and a new utility room, along with hardwood flooring throughout, new carpets, and new internal doors. We also carried out significant structural alterations, removing two load-bearing walls to open up the main living areas and improve flow through the house.

A bespoke oak staircase was designed and installed, becoming a real feature of the home. The project also involved a full electrical rewire, the installation of a bespoke library wall, and two new gas fires to create warm, comfortable living spaces.

This was a major refurbishment following flood damage, and the end result is a much better-functioning, modernised home that feels refreshed, practical, and built to last.
