Bluebell Lodge

Bluebell Lodge built in 2019, we designed and built from scratch, set in the woods and full of character. The idea was to keep it simple, practical, and in keeping with the surroundings.

The lodge sits on pile foundations and is built with a timber frame, finished externally in live-edge, locally sourced larch. Inside, the walls are timber clad to keep the feel warm and natural and to suit the woodland setting.

Heating is provided by electric underfloor heating with an electric boiler, keeping the space comfortable and easy to run. We installed all services on site, including septic tanks and utilities, making the lodge fully self-contained.

The bathroom was fitted with bespoke elements, including a walk-in shower. Outside, a timber deck overlooks the water and gives a great spot to sit and enjoy the setting.

It’s a great little property, tucked away in the woods, that feels solid, comfortable, and well suited to its location.
